Developed mainly for the portable building market, a new C75 Section is now being produced by BlueScope Lysaght at their Archerfield factory. It is typically intended for use as a floor joist section but it obviously will find applications in other market segments as well.
The 75mm web depth enables this new C Section to be used inline with standard 75mm SHS sections for sub-floor framing chassis. This makes it ideal for all styles of demountables, mining huts and school re-locatables.

There is also no reason why this versatile section could not be used in steel wall framing applications in conjunction with SBF top and bottom 78mm plates. As it has a 75mm web it 'nests' well with the 78mm plate section for applications that call for larger wall loads. The 10mm lip adds additional strength.
The section is supplied in G500 Z350 Galvaspan in 1.2 BMT only. It is available in lengths from 500mm to 7500mm and can be called up using the Lysaght code PC7512U.
LYSAGHTŪ C75 is available in Queensland only and is supplied unpunched.
