Seldom do box gutters have a width exceeding 500mm. There are lots of good practical reasons for this. However up until now the general purpose LYSAGHT SPANDEK® trapezoidal profiled sheet has been all we have been able to offer to provide a platform support on the underside of these box gutters.
The general purpose LYSAGHT SPANDEK® sheet has a standard (700mm) cover width. When used as a support for box gutters it often is necessity to cut it longitudinally to make it fit on site, with associated labour costs and wastage.
It was therefore a 'no-brainer' to modify our existing production equipment at our Archerfield factory to produce a special roll formed width of 525mm (edge to edge) in the same trapezoidal profile.

The new Lysaght Box Gutter Support has a total cover width of 530mm and a rib height of 24mm and a lapped (cover) width of 445mm. |
A typical installation of the new LYSAGHT SPANDEK® Box Gutter Support suspended between LYSAGHT® Adjustable Box Gutter Support Brackets avoids the necessity to do any onsite cutting in most applications
|
For wider box gutters it is still possible to use either the standard width LYSAGHT SPANDEK® or side lap 2 sections of the new Box Gutter Support. This works much better in most applications and compliments the existing LYSAGHT® adjustable box gutter bracket. See illustration below.
